I think it is to give room for error - from the police speed trap unit as well as for the drivers. We are human being, we cannot keep our feet to the pedal and maintain it for a very long time. Not every car got auto cruise right? That's my logic lah.

  4. Cannot keep feet to pedal or just the right foot is heavy ar? ;-) I used to be guilty of doing what you guys are doing, going above the speed limit slightly just to test my luck.

But if you're in this road safety field and see all the research papers/investigation cases on causes of accidents on the highway and what nots, you will repent just like me and just stick to the limit. There are laws of physics that we can not defy and when it comes to accident, there is no telling what or when it would happen.

Safety is your choice and responsibility.

Bagilah peluang naikkan sikit.

It is truth, most of the road also not in good maintenance. Always many holes, unbalance and no street light as well. Many cases i was seen before, when the road worker completed the road maintainance, like rebuild the road or refill the hole. But don't know which fellow arrange a gang of worker to dig out many holes in the middle of road. Not sure what they doing, maybe they wanna to dig out some treasures from the ground. Actually maybe they going to maintain the water pipe or etc...... What i trying to tell u guys is, there is realy bad communication between each government department. Is they very busy even cannot spend some time for discuss how to make the road prefectly?? Many cases i experienced already, really frustrated. Deeply disappointed. Maybe this is the GOOD culture in Malaysia government. So, many accident is caused by the bad roads....... Of course a part of it is caused by the Over Speed.

I have been pulled over in North South Highway once enroute to KL (from Penang).

Even though I am using my cruise control and limiting it to 110km/h, the traffic officer said they registered 117km/h.

'Tak pe lah' he said and let me off.

I have reasons to believe that each car's speedometer may not be 100% accurate so as to the police's speed gun too.
